About Signature Fiberglass

Joe was born in South Florida where he grew up on the beach and fishing in Palm Beach County. He moved to New Jersey after High School and started working at Yank Marine. At that time he was laying up Yanks 53 and 65 boat mold for commercial and recreational use. After that, he moved down the river a little to work at Holtz Boat Works and fell in love with Sport Fishing Boats. From there he enhanced his knowledge with Fiberglass and learned a lot about refurbishing and painting with Awlgrip products. He saw a need for an independent company specializing in one thing instead of being okay at many things. So in 1998, Joe started Signature Fiberglass.
